For residents

Get paid to contribute to healthcare innovation — on your terms.

Resident Advisory Network gives physicians in training access to structured opportunities with healthcare companies while keeping participation voluntary, project scope clear, and institution-specific requirements part of the process.

Know the details before you decide

No blind commitments and no obligation to participate.

When an opportunity is offered to you, the scope, expected time commitment, format, and fixed compensation are defined before you choose whether you are interested.

Predefined scope

You can see what the Company wants to learn, what work is expected, the anticipated time, and the compensation before agreeing to move forward.

Your choice

You may express interest or decline any opportunity. Declining does not affect your standing in the network, and expressing interest does not automatically approve participation.

Project-specific clearance

Before participation, the project is reviewed for institution requirements, conflicts, moonlighting or outside-activity issues, work-hour concerns, scope, compensation, and confidentiality.

Exposure beyond traditional training

See how healthcare innovation is built while you are still in residency.

Residency creates deep clinical and workflow knowledge, but it can be difficult to find legitimate ways to apply that perspective outside the hospital. These opportunities can provide early exposure to healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship, including product development, digital health, healthcare AI, medical devices, market research, and investing.

The goal is not to pull Residents away from training. It is to create carefully scoped opportunities that fit around it and allow Residents to learn how companies make decisions while companies learn from frontline physician experience.

You stay in control.
Being verified in the network never commits you to a project. Every opportunity is optional, and every engagement is evaluated separately.

How participation works.

1. Baseline verification

Identity, institutional email, training, institution-policy information, and overall network status are reviewed before you can receive opportunities.

2. Review an opportunity

Admin offers opportunities based on the Company's requested expertise. You review the defined scope, time, compensation, and relevance, then choose Interest or Decline.

3. Clear & connect

If interested, you complete the short Resident checkpoint and attestation. Only after the required review is complete can Admin formally connect you with the Company.
