Built from a Resident's own advisory experience.
The idea for Resident Advisory Network grew out of firsthand experience. While in residency, the founder was able to step into an advisory role with a healthcare company and contribute a perspective that is easy for companies to miss: what clinical training actually feels like from inside it, how Residents use technology, where workflows break down, and what physicians early in their careers value.
That work became meaningful on both sides. The Company gained access to a current Resident perspective that could inform product, messaging, and strategy. The advisory role also gave the founder early exposure to healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and the way healthcare companies make decisions outside the traditional clinical environment.
When that experience came up in conversations with other Residents, the reaction was often similar: they would be interested in contributing too, but did not know where to find credible opportunities, how to evaluate whether an engagement was appropriate, or how to participate without creating unnecessary conflict with training or institutional requirements.
Resident expertise is valuable before residency ends.

They deserve a clearer path to legitimate innovation and advisory opportunities.

Resident Advisory Network is intended to create a curated bridge between healthcare companies that need authentic Resident insight and physicians in training who want selective exposure to innovation, product development, research, and entrepreneurship.
It is deliberately not an open marketplace. Companies do not browse a public list of Residents, and network membership does not mean a Resident is automatically cleared for every engagement. Each project is scoped and reviewed separately.
Resident Advisory Network does not imply endorsement by any residency program, hospital, university, or ACGME. Residents remain responsible for complying with applicable institutional and program requirements.
